AGAR AGAR POWDER

Agar is obtained from polysaccharide agarose which is vastly used in dessert preparation and thickening soups. It is used as laxative in constipation, antipeptic in ulcer therapy, appetite suppressant, clarifying agent in beer production. Due to its emulsifying effect it is used in many pharmaceutical preparations as an excipient.
