BARBERRY EXTRACT 20-1 0.1% is obtained from Berberis vulgaris and its medicinal use has started a long time ago. It contains an alkaloid, berbamin, which is a potent antioxidant that is used to treat fibrosis produced by anticancer drugs. It has another compound naming berberin which helps in the prevention and treatment of plaque formation on teeth and gingivitis.
