ECONAZOLE NITRATE

ECONAZOLE NITRATE is an antifungal of the azole type. It is used in the treatment of skin infections including candidiasis, jock itch, ringworm and athlete’s foot. It is effective against pityriasis and imparts action by interfering fungal cell membrane formation and weakens it.
