LORAZEPAM

LORAZEPAM is a benzodiazepine group drug which is used in the treatment of anxiety disorders. It acts on the central nervous system by increasing the effects of GABA to give calming effect. It is also used in the treatment alcohol withdrawal symptoms and in the prevention of nausea, vomiting caused by chemotherapy and insomnia.
