ACEPROMAZINE MALEATE
Acepromazine maleate is used in veterinary medicine which is a derivative of phenothiazine. It is a neuroleptic agent which acts by tranqulizing animals like dogs, cats, horses. It also gives antispasmodic, anti-cholinergic, antihistaminic, anti-emetic properties. It also can produce hypotension by reducing vasomotor tone.
