ACYCLOVIR

Acylovir is a synthetic antiviral nucleoside analogue which acts by stopping the outbreak or spread of herpes virus in the body. It is used in varicella, herpes zoster patients to reduce pain and increase celerity of healing the sores or blisters. It is also sometimes used in the treatment of eczema herpeticum, oral hairy leukoplakia as well as in HIV patients
