AMIKACIN SULFATE

Amikacin Sulfate is an aminoglycoside antibiotic which is effective against a wide range of bacterial infections. It is indicated to treat biliary and urinary tract infections, joint infections, CNS infections, gram negative bacterial pneumonia, bone and soft tissue infections, bacterial septicemia. It is usually used in the treatment of significant systemic infections. The spectrum of Amikacin Sulfate is limited to aerobic gram negative and some gram positive microorganisms. It is also used in the veterinary medicine as an antibacterial.
