AMINACRINE HYDROCHLORIDE
Aminacrine Hydrochloride has germicidal action against gram positive as well as gram negative bacteria, fungi and trichomonads. Its activity is not affected by any body fluids, pus or any secretions. It is effectively used against trichomoniasis, vaginal candidiasis and haemophilus infections. Mostly it is used to treat infections related to vagina, exocervix like trichomonal vaginitis, moniliasis. In dentistry, it is used in irrigation of root canal and also as an antiseptic in maxillofacia abscesses. Moreover, it is also used in veterinary medicine as an antiseptic.
