AMOXYCILLIN SODIUM
Amoxycillin Sodium is a ?-Lactam antibiotic which has moderate spectrum of activity against both gram positive and negative bacteria. It is used in the treatment of bacterial pharyngitis, skin infections, acute otitis media, urinary tract infections, sinusitis, bacterial pneumonia, Salmonella and chlamydia infections. Moreover, it is used in the early stage treatment of Lyme disease. It is also used to treat bacterial endocarditis, bronchitis. Amoxycillin sodium along with bismuth subsalicylate and metronidazole, can effectively act against gastritis, peptic ulcer formed by Helicobacter pylori.
