ARTICHOKE EXTRACT

Artichoke Extract is obtained from the plant Cynara scolymus, which has wide range of therapeutic activities. It is used in hepato-biliary disorders like preventing gallstones, cholestasis and digestive problems like anorexia, abdominal pain, fullness sensation, nausea. It has lipid lowering property which helps to reduce high cholesterol and its hepatoprotective nature helps in liver disorders. Most of these effects are due to its high content of caffeoylquinic acids and as well as flavonoids.
