Bismuth Subsalicylate acts against a bacterium, Helicobacter pylori and this in turn helps in the treatment of peptic ulcers and gastritis. Bismuth Subsalicylate is also used to treat diarrhea, indigestion, stomach upset, nausea, heartburn.
