BOLDO EXTRACT 5-1

BOLDO EXTRACT 5-1 is obtained from the plant Peumus boldus which is used a traditional Chinese Medicine. It has significant anti-inflammatory activity which is dose dependent and acts very effectively against acute inflammatory process. It is very useful in the treatment of gastrointestinal and hepatic disorders. Moreover, it imparts hepatoprotective effect due to the presence of natural antioxidants-catechin and boldine; by decreasing the leakage of lactate dehydrogenase and lipid peroxidation. Moreover, these two antioxidants play an important role as chemoprotective agents.
