CALCIUM PANTOTHENATE

CALCIUM PANTOTHENATE is a hygroscopic, water soluble white powder that acts as a cicatrizant. Pantothenic acid is a B complex vitamin which acts as a precursor in the coenzyme A biosynthesis. It also acts as an antioxidant that breaks down steroids, carbohydrates, heme, fatty acids, amino acids and phospholipids. It is also used in animals not only for deficiency but also for neuromuscular degeneration and adrenocortical insufficiency.
