CARAWAY EXTRACT is obtained from the plant Carum carvi which has potent anti-inflammatory and anti-ulcerative properties and is useful in inflammatory bowel diseases. It is used in bronchopulmonary diseases where it works by remedying cough and acting as a demulcent. It also has analgesic activity which helps to treat rheumatism and lumbar pains. It is a bioenhancer and favorably modifies the kinetic of ant tubercular drugs.
