CEFTIOFUR HCL

CEFTIOFUR HCL is a cephalosporin antibiotic which has much broader activity against Gram positive bacteria, also has effectiveness against Streptococci but less active against Pseudomonas than the other third generation antibiotics. The positive feature about this one is it is active against strains producing beta-lactamase and anaerobes like Bacteroides melaninogenicus and Fusobacterium necrophorum.
