CETIRIZINE HCL

CETIRIZINE HCL is a non sedating histamine H1 antagonist which is used alone or in combination with pseudoephedrine hydrochloride to treat seasonal allergic rhinitis like hay fever or other upper respiratory tract allergies. This combination is particularly needed when both antihistaminic as well as nasal decongestant properties are concurrently required. It is also used in veterinary medicine to treat pruritus in animals.
