CLINDAMYCIN HYDROCHLORIDE
CLINDAMYCIN HYDROCHLORIDE is an anti-bacterial agent which is used in the treatment of bacterial vaginosis, chronic hematogenous osteomyelitis, actinomycosis, acute respiratory tract infections, of invasive disease by Bacillus cereus, inflammatory acne vulgaris septicemia by susceptible strains of Streptococcus pneumoniae, S. aureus or other Streptococci except Enterococcus faecalis. Moreover, it acts as an alternative to to penicillin G. It is also used as an adjunct in treatment of acute bone and joint infections surgery, in conjunction with primaquine to treat chronic Pneumocystis jiroveci in HIV adolescents and adults.
