FERRIC AMMONIUM CITRATE
FERRIC AMMONIUM CITRATE is an antianemic agent that is used in the treatment of iron-deficiency anemias and exhibits less constipating and irritant properties. In veterinary preparations, it is used in the treatment and prevention of iron-deficiency anemias and this is why it is widely used in parenteral and oral hematinics. It also imparts antidotic action on bancol poisoning of rats.
