Microcrystalline Cellulose 101

MCC101 plays an important role for wet granulation. It ensures proper distribution of fluid and this provides even granulation as well as helps in proper drying. It acts as a superdisintegrant which gives improved dissolution. It also works excellently in dry granulation formulation. It exhibits recompaction insensitivity and also increased tablet strength.
