MINOXIDIL

MINOXIDIL acts as an antihypertensive agent which is used in the treatment of hypertension. It is used topically for hair regrowth in hereditary alopecia, male pattern alopecia. It promotes hair regrowth on the scalp vertex. It also acts against alopecia areata in males and females for baldness treatment. It is used as an adjunct for hair transplantation.
