NIMESULIDE

NIMESULIDE is a non steroidal anti-inflammatory agent which also exhibits analgesic, antipyretic as well as platelet inhibitory actions. It works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase which in turn blocks prostaglandin synthesis. It is used to treat pain, osteoarthritis and also dysmenorrhoea.
