POTASSIUM GLUCONATE

POTASSIUM GLUCONATE is used in the treatment and prevention of low potassium level in blood. It acts as an electrolyte which helps the functioning of cells, heart, kidneys, nerves, acid-base balance and muscles. Low potassium level can be characterized by fatigue and weakness. Severe vomiting, prolonged diarrhea, hyperaldosteronism, taking diuretics can cause potassium imbalance and in these cases, potassium supplement is required to restore the balance.
