SENEGA EXTRACT

SENEGA EXTRACT is obtained from the plant Polygala senega and is used as an antitussive. It is used against throat, nose as well as chest inflammation, asthma, emphysema and chronic bronchitis. It increases sweating, saliva, loosen phlegm and also cleanse the bowels. It acts as an expectorant, diaphoretic, sialagogue, diuretic, emmenagogue and in large doses as a cathartic and emetic.
