SODIUM HYALURONATE acts as an analgesic to treat knee pain in osteoarthritis and is a sodium salt of hyaluronic acid. It works by increasing fluid effectiveness in knee joint by acting as lubricant as well as shock absorber and helps the knee in smooth movement. It also has anti-inflammatory property and is usually used when patients do not respond to acetaminophen, physical therapy and exercise.
