SODIUM SALICYLATE
SODIUM SALICYLATE acts as an analgesic and anti-pyretic and is categorized as ënon-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugí. It works by inhibiting the cyclooxygenase enzyme which in turn results in no production of pain, inflammation and fever mediators. It is also used as an anticlotting agent for the treatment and prevention of atherosclerosis.
