STREPTOMYCIN SULPHATE
STREPTOMYCIN SULPHATE is an aminoglycoside antibiotic which is used against all most all Enterobacteriaceae and is also effective against aerobic gram-negative bacilli. It is used in the treatment of biliary tract infections, central nervous system infections like meningitis and ventriculitis, bone and joint infections, pneumonia, septicemia, intra-abdominal infections like peritonitis, soft tissue infections including burn and urinary tract infections. It is also used to treat brucellosis, tuberculosis, granuloma inguinale, tularemia and plague.
