TOCOPHEROL
TOCOPHEROL is known as vitamin E which is a potential antioxidant. It exhibits anticoagulant, anti-atherogenic, antiviral, antithrombotic, immunomodulatory, antiproliferative and cell membrane-stabilizing properties. It is a fat soluble vitamin which is widely used in creams as well as lotions due to its probable effect on healing and reducing scarring. It is also used to treat vitamin E deficiency which may lead to menstrual problems, infertility, neuromuscular impairment, uterine degradation and miscarriage.
